I tried to call them friday to ask a couple of questions about a new top and all I got was a recording that said their phone service had been disconnected temporarily. Are they still in business? I know Colorado has been hit pretty hard with weather lately, let me know if anyone has any info.

I read here that they were being bought up by another company and would eventually resume business.
I was told that they were in the throws of being taken over which was back in early December. We(Aqualu) manufacture an aluminum half door called the Kayline door which accepts a soft upper section that is manufactured by them. We are waiting to hear what is going to happen to their facility along with the product line which they produced.
oh that figures, i was thinking of buying a top from them because of the way the sides zip out and the back too. always a day late and a doller short

That sucks, I love my STC top. 
Damn I was planning on buying one for my 40 when finished. There was just a review in 4wd Toyota Owner about their top. I like it so much better than the Best top tops
This is not a good thing I may need parts for a used top that I just bought. I hope someone has some info on a new location and contact number.
4WD Toyota Owner's mag just had a article on the STC for the FJ40. Based on that I am sure they will be around a bit longer. The phone number they list in the article is 303-487-9939.
kayline is the old name. they were bought out by stc, who was in turn bought out by a mysterious and possibly evil stranger.
if they are relocating to texas, that won't be their number. that's stc's number here in denver

Check with Man-A-Fre They are a distributor for STC. If they don't have one they can probably give you an update.
