Kelly/Tucker/Walter were checking out my speakers at the last C&C, and I see they are even cheaper on Amazon now.

Heck of a price, with free shipping, and no tax, for a great set of speakers that mount very nice.

How is the sound quality/volume? Are they pretty durable? I have mine mounted right there as well, but have to turn it up pretty loud in order to hear what is playing. I just have some s***ty 6x9s back there and have been through 2 pair. The combination of dirt, dust and wet dogs have done a number on them I guess.

I think they sound pretty good, but you can quiz the guys that were at the last C&C, as I played them there. They are designed to be used outside, so I think that attests to their durability, and if you can get a few years out of speaks that were delivered to the house for $111, it's hard to complain.

I think I'm going to order another set for the garage. I was going to put the ghetto blasters that came with my 40 out there, but these pump out almost as much sound, and are 1/20 the size. I won't make it to Billy's today, (want to put my new wheel cylinders in on the passenger side before I grease up the new brake shoes), but I can let you hear them at the next Rudy's, or you can swing by and give them a listen, (I'm around Parmer and 620).

You're right. I looked again and they aren't gold. They're gold lame'. They match the cool outfit you wore to the last C&C.

No, I gave that to Tucker after he finished his 3FE transplant. I didn't want to give it up, but he begged.

I would wear a gold 2F version, but without the diamonds.
