Ok so first off I have to fix this stereo problem. Stock door speakers not cutting it. Question is are there any kick panel speaker mounts to buy or what have others done. Can't fit anything in door cause it's to shallow. Just looking for ideas. Thanks.

The size is 5.5" in those door speakers, I've heard of using bigger shallow speakers though...

Use the search function on "infinity speakers" as well

Under the panel would be tuff, I just put in Pioneer 5.25" speakers. They sound really good for $75.;)

And a update!:D

I pulled mine and it has the 4.5 triangle mount speakers. Those do look really good the magnet don't hit the window?

No interference with the windows. I did toss the triangle things.

This is a temp setup for me, as I plan on making new panels for mid/tweet install.

At this time I'm just running the pioneers front/back 5.25"/6.5" in the stock locations, along with a couple of EarthQuake Shallow 10" subs.

When I replaced mine I noticed po put bigger speakers in the stock place. And he cut it out a little wider. He did a pretty bad job so I cleaned it up best I could. I put 5 1/2s in there and they hit the window so I added some little washers and it worked just fine.

i replaced my front speakers with some Pioneers and they sound great.

has anyone put rear speakers in? i couldn't make them work in the rear door panel. windows would not roll down all the way if i put them in.

I just put in new 5.5 inch speakers behind the original door screen with no problem of fit. I think they were Pioneers. And put 6X9's in the rear side panels. Though I did rebuild the cheap cardboard walls with real wood and matching vinyl.

Wish I had taken pictures. The point is, I found plenty of room in the doors and nothing is sticking out by my feet.

Guess I'm gonna go buy some 5.25 or 5.5 and see how they work. Was thinking about just some 6x9 boxes in back for now too.

anyone have pics of rear speaker setup?

If you guys have stuff that fits in the stock holes (or with very little modification) can you please post pics and list model number (if you have available).

good to know I was planing on doing this over the weekend. Iv have had a blown speaker for some time definitely going to check what walmart has for 5.5" and some 6x9s I lifted my center consol with a wooden box and was thinking of mounting the amp under there.

Pioneer makes a shallow 6.5" that fits in behind the stock door panel and allows the window to go down.

Here ya go. TS-G1644R - 6½" 2-Way Speaker | Pioneer Electronics USA

I ordered these speakers based on this post, but they didn't fit my vehicle. The installers said that the depth was okay, but the front rim of the speaker was too thick, and that the back of the panel was pressed tightly against the front of the speaker, no-go.
They went through several sets and sizes in their inventory, and ended up successfully installing a pair of Alpine speakers, 5 1/4", Model SPS-510. I didn't see the work, but they said they used about a 1/8" spacer on the window track, to allow the window to roll down past the back of the speaker. They sound good, and look stock behind the door panels and grilles.

To fit big speakers you have to build out.

Here you can see half of one of my 6-1/2" rear door speakers.

Those look realm good! I went with some 5.25 up front and built panels for two 6x9 in the back. Sounds good

Never really paid attention but are there stock holes in the rear passenger doors? Only ever noticed the rear storage area ones?!

Last I checked there aren't any stock speakers in the back seat doors. I think those have been added custom.
