Speak grilles look like CRAP.

Shane, thanks for the link. I need to replace all of mine as well but wanted something more substantial than OEM.

For the gray interiors, this is the best I have found and automotive grade.

I'm ordering these since I'm replacing all my speakers with something a bit nicer than what these trucks came with. This is good timing.

The one shown will work on all four doors?
Yes, the middle door speakers are slightly slammer, I made two patterns instead of 4.

If only these came in tan/brown . . .:o

When I recently dynamatted (exterior panels) and BAM'd (interior panels) my front doors I removed the plastic grills / clothes and placed them in a solution of hot water and Dawn dish washing soap.

A few mild scrubs later and they look a lot better.

When I do the rear doors in the spring, I'll probably replace all four grills with new speaker cloth.

Very easy mod.

Other than Shane, anyone have a decent online source for the cloth?

Here's the problem with online fabric, it's nothing what it looks like in your hands or feels like for that matter. I have several versions and for gray, this is the winner! cheap? not really as you can buy "Speaker" cloth, but it's just that. To get quality for the brown. I went to men's suit fabrics. while not the same as the gray, it is nice. I found another and it's like the Gucci pattern. Though all might no like it,. it's nice.

I have a tan, it's what's in my 100, see build thread to see them in stalled. here is the covers https://forum.ih8mud.com/metric-tlc/649729-100-series-replacement-speaker-grill-covers.html

That $42 is for a set that will do all 4 speakers. Much better than $30 for one new OEM speaker grill.

It.s not the grill, it's the s***ty fabric cover.

Side note, my FatMat came today......OMG that's going to be a project......

After pic. Was recovered 5 years ago and still looks great. I did some custom work to tweak the speaker angle so you'll notice my grill shape has been modified a little as well.

I've been searching trying to see how you take the cover off. I can't seem to find a way. I don't want to break anything. Do you have to take any part of the door panel off or just pull off the speaker cover itself?

Read up on page one of this thread... 67FASTBACKFAN said... "I took mine off and cleaned them. Undo the 4 screws at the bottom of the door panel and take out the pop clips on the side. Once you get those out you should have room to fit a 90 degree ratcheting phillips head or possibly a stubby phillips head back there and take out the 4 small screws that hold the cover on. "

To be safe, I'd remove the entire door panel to do it. I'm heavy handed and have big hands. This is on my to-do list too....
