I am planning on replacing the spark plugs in my 2014 soon and am wondering if anyone is familiar with the NGK 94122 Ruthenium HX? I've never heard of it and wondered if anyone had any experience about how it compares to the OEM iridium? I searched but couldn't find anything.

Thank you in advance,

Lee

I don't know anyone running a 5.7 with anything but the stock plugs. That being said, there are some guys running superchargers that go a stage colder but that is an outside case. With these engines, there is zero gain with any other plugs.

NGK #6619 or the equivalent Denso...info should be in the owner's manual.

Very easy DIY, except for #8. A great DIY here .

Seems like a nextgen plug. Try it. My guess is that any difference will be undetectable on this engine and irridum is already so much better than the old stuff.

Don’t buy plugs on Amazon or ebay. Tons of counterfeit auto parts being sold right now. Buy from a dealer or auto parts store.

Quick thread bump on plugs. I have an '08 and the manual calls for the Denso SK20HR11 but I have seen some using the NGK IFR6L11 - can anyone confirm the right plugs?

TIA!

Obviously, the Denso plug cited in your Owner's Manual is the "right plug."

If you want an NGK equivalent, this is the one according to the NGK web site:

NOT the NGK plug you asked about.
