I got tired of dragging my spare over every obstacle. I don't plan on purchasing a swing-out bumper anytime soon, and I'm not crazy about losing space inside the cargo area. Of course, I'm only running 33s too. I purchased the spare tire leveling kit from Ajik Overland. It bolted up really easily and now I can just drag my trailer hitch. :steer:

Looks like you gained some clearance. How many inches did it move the spare>?

The high side, by the hitch, only a couple of inches, but the low side, towards the front, at least 5 inches. The spare is definitely level now, and doesn't look like a saggy diaper.

Wow, I heard you guys talking about this on the trail, but I should have taken a closer look - that makes a huge difference in rear clearance. I hope you won't have to modify your exhaust setup now, though to make room for the spare being up higher. Even a thin sheet of aluminum and a centimeter of air clearance would likely keep the temps down low enough to avoid tire damage.
