Hey guys, I am looking to move the tires out a bit further on my landcruiser. I currently have 33X10.50R-15 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain tires on the truck with a suspension lift. My mechanic said it's not possible to do spacers because of the currrent wheels. Can anyone assist me in how I can put spacers on the cruiser? Do i need to buy new wheels/tires??

I'm running 1" spacers. I think that they're technically adapters. They look like this

Some members are adamantly opposed to them as potentially unsafe. Others, like myself have run them for years with no issues.

What kind of wheels are you running?

I'm running spacers on mine. The key is you have to run a style that has studs pressed into them to maintain enough thread contact. They are typically 1.25" + at the wheel. It's a pretty common thing on a Toyota.

To reinforce above, they are definitely safe to run, provided you torque them to spec and check them each time you rotate the tires.

the spidertrax website doesn't have land cruisers listed. Which model fits the fj60's?
thanks for any help,
Brooks
I don't recall which specific version it was, I emailed slee and got mine through them.
