Alright all,
This is like giving up my firstborn, but this car needs the right home and a good owner. I'm the fourth owner, bought it at 226k miles and drove it out here for a lifestyle change. It's got leather seats (first two rows- third not included), four new tires as of 230k miles, newer stereo, and stock of about everything else. Carfax will show you it spent a long time out West originally, then got moved to East Coast, and then I brought it back out here. Changed oil every 3k miles and fed it Ethanol-free 88.
The Good: Engine's fine, suspension is strong, has been serviced and checked out by certified Master Toyota techs specializing in LCs. Can go anywhere and will deliver for you. Could be a project car or someone's stock ride for a rough road. Brake pads replaced at 226k. Still has original paint.
The meh: Antenna removed before purchase with temporary cap on housing- motor works fine. Hoist for spare rusted out- have new replacement hoist, just needs install on crosspiece. Crosspiece ends slightly rusted, was considering buying new crosspiece before decided to sell. Cosmetic wear on gearlever and steering wheel, some dry cracks on console, and some pieces of the faux-wood trim have flaked off. Oil pressure gauge not functional, techs say it's a short somewhere. Clear coat's streaked and thinned in places due to a fight with some brambles; bug stains along the edge of the hood.
The weird: If you try to run the rear windshield washer fluid, it comes out the front instead.
This rig will deliver for you and needs to be out in the wild. $14800 OBO.
Am out in UT but will consider going to Las Vegas area for meetup/delivery.
