Do not forget to check the status every couple of days: there will be an extra small charge that you may miss if you wait for a notification in a passive mode. Just the way the business works. They are honest, but you have to be active until you get the final [shipment] announcement.
Otherwise they will wait for the extra tiny payment, and you will wait for the goods... until you discover all this.

To recap: the first payment is the 'estimate payment', followed by the 'adjustment payment' for the actual weight, dimensions and currency rate differential.
At least, this was the case both times I purchased from them.
Yes ! I thought that was weird, but it made sense. They obviously haven't automated this part of their business yet. Thanks for the reminder, I definitely don't want to be the cause for delays...

👍 Good looking out...

I've just had 4 gloobes and som O-rings delivered from Impex - all in about 10 days

If you use the Russian version of the website (which is easy with chrome- just right click on the page and "translate to english") you can add some cash "on account"- i put in £20 as i know I'll use them again. They then use the cash balance to pay for any adjusting figures.

There are some parts that they aren't good value on- fan clutches being one! but globes are DIRT cheap there- here in the UK a single globe from a dealer is $1200! (although there is a second hand supplier)

Just watch for import taxes if you are in the UK- they ship via FedEx and you need to pay the taxes and duties BEFORE fedex will deliver to you

In my case the O-rings were already installed on the globes. I also ordered O-rings and they were not needed.

Not exactly sure what I am missing here regarding impex. Four globes shipped from Plaeides, UK to South Alabama and on my truck in three days for almost $700. No money issues, no shipping issues and no globe issues for about four years now. How does that get any better?

I ordered four globs on the 18th and my order is still processing. I put $100 in my balance for shipping. I wonder if my globe order is taking a bit longer than normal.

I chose not to use Pliades because he doesn't seem to be active anywhere, and his website is very very old. Makes mew nervous about spending that much money!

It's also a non OEM part isn't it? Same with WTV in the UK- love the idea, but as time isn't important for me, i'd rather spend the same money and put on genuine OEM Toyota/Lexus parts. OEM is REALLY important to me- but its not for many (and i totally get that its mostly my OCD at play there...)

Hmm, I didn't get the O rings, good catch. Need to look them up and probably just get locally.

Also I did see that thing about adding money to an account, wondered what that was about. I still haven't revived any shipping balance, been checking my email to make sure I don't miss it. I'm in L.A. not sure how that'll work but I hope they include everything in the shipping cost. And yes, it'll still be way cheaper than buying from any dealer. I just can't believe the insane markup. Even worst if it's Lexus over Toyota eventhough it's the exact same part.

Thank you for the heads up.

Checking email is a passive mode - may or may not work. You have to check your order status on their site.
That's what I was trying to convey. How many messages does it take.

As for Pleiades solution, it is more more money for a questionable product. Too many variables.

I remember 2 reports of Pleiades globes not working well with King springs recently. Pogo stick ride when combined with King springs, otherwise they ran fine.

$7 at Impex/PartSouq …. local stealership …

Oh!! OK, gotcha. Thanks again.

Got my accumulators from Impex today. Order was placed November 12th, so a little longer than some other have experienced. Honestly at $683 for all 4 shipped, I could not care less about how long it took. I 100% will be ordering a second set for my parents LX.

Question for those that have replaced accumulators. Do you recommend getting a set of 30mm spacers to get the rear pressure in spec? My springs have 230K on them, but I am still stock weight wise.

I’d go for new springs… Think of them as a wear item that will continue to work just at a reduced rate over time. I typically replace shocks (traditional) and springs on my vehicles around 100-150k pending it’s use in those miles. You won’t realize how much things have deteriorated until you get something new.

Thanks, I was leaning that way. Same for torsion bars or can I get away with adjusting them?

I still haven't heard back from them, vids email or my order status. I placed my order right before the weekend so I'm guessing that's the reason. In any event, I agree, I'm in no rush considering the awesome deal they are. Gotta start shopping around for new shocks as well. Oof, next big expense.

Torsion bars can be adjusted and reindexed as needed.

I went with the king springs for ~$350 shipped. Half of what I was finding for OEM. I think I found OEM cheapest on partsiq. Went with the kings because of my RTT and potential for a drawer system.

Are you sure you need new shocks? The AHC system the “shocks” are the globes in terms of wear items.

Dumb question, but I'm assuming they work well with your AHC ? I'm also looking to putting in some weight very soon.

Yep, work great. Couple threads on here with reviews and I’d say they are accurate. Look on eBay and there are a few sellers with them. All are from Australia so shopping is literally the same price as the shocks ha.
