I noticed that my oil pressure was reading kinda high today. I was driving up to 9,700,' about 3,000' above normal. I've never seen the oil needle go that high on this 2F FJ40, almost to the marking on the right-of-middle. 10W-30 with a quart of 5W-30. MicroGard select oil filter, which is new to me.

I'd imagine that atmospheric pressure is pushing against something in the oil sending unit. Likewise for the vacuum gauge. Coming down the mountain, my ears popped, which improved the clarity of the bluetooth speaker ratting around in the factory metal center console.

What are you using to read-out vacuum with? How much does compression-braking change your vacuum, any?
