I've got a good stash of FJ55 parts waiting for the day I find a rebuildable pig. Well that day still hasn't happened.
I thought I would at least share a pic of the factory AM radio I have from one of my older pigs. I've chopped a lot of pork and still nothing worth keeping.
I also have a Toyota CB I took out of my 1977 FJ55. I'll post a pic of that CB later.

I'm a little jealous but I could always buy the one thats on ebay right now if I was really jealous. Although I think the radio I threw out might have been stock because it looked a lot like that one. It just had like some fake wood finish stuff put on it.

i need a knob for mine...i do plan on keeping it

hit up the junkyards, I have found knobs from 70's vintage toyota cars that were a direct interchange and while not exactly the same were certainly correct looking when both sides were swapped out.

all the pics of radios is funny considering mud guppie may have been thinking more rare. in order to keep "toyota" in my pigs dash i will someday get around to installing a late model cd player from a camry.

nuc-mom.. hey i need the other knob... hahaha
Steven... I wanna see the pics of that toyota CB.

im going to keep the factory radio and speaker in, but i do plan on installing another stereo system. Having just an AM radio sucks.

No, I assumed serious pig owners would have stock radios still
The radio I took out basically looks new other then some dust, that's why I think it's worthy of a pic.
Most of the Pig radios I've come across are usually dead, hanging, missing parts, or have been replaced.
No knobs for sale at this time. I do have a few, but I need to find them
