For grins I contacted OTC to check on some Toyota SST prices and availability; whoa daddy, expensive. Many of these are also available online

Here's the list from OTC.

Edit: added description of the tools from what I could find

I pulled these numbers from the FSM used for replacing the pinion seal and front differential bearings.

Could you put a name to any of those tools? I have many of the necessary special tools for an 80but none are otc.

There's almost always a work-around.

Sometimes the supposed SST's just a set of snap-ring pliers, or even just an electrical jumper. (I.e., the infamous "paperclip".:lol:)

Does it have a step, for the pinion seal you don't want it to be flush and you don't want it to go in too far so the output flange can have a good seal and not let debris get into that cavity.
Yup this has a 1mm step.

You can order with more or less of a step if you want.
