you are being way too hard on yourself, I didn’t resolve my own issue. mine was at a Toyota dealer 2 weeks before the issue started (they missed it, perhaps caused it?), a Lexus dealer for AC trouble shoot (they missed it), Indy shop for water pump and ac issue and they found it fairly quickly.

SOLVED part 2. For the record....I ended up having to replace compressor. It would not consistently stay running properly. The ohms reading continued to show too much resistance.

Shucks, another pricey component had to be replaced. Well worth it in the coming months though ....
