*** SOLD ***

Sale Pending - waiting on a final handshake, you guys are missing out! :)

Title is free and clear in my name, currently registered and insured.
No funny games with paperwork!

Work has done it again and our family will be hitting the road once again due to job relocation across states!
This time I just can't go through the same as far as trying to deal with the house and extra vehicles!
All that been said it comes down to me selling my 40 in order to toss some cash on a house!

***** PRICE DROP 10% ***** NEED TO GO *****

Asking $7,110 PM me and I'll send my email and phone #.

We are moving back to Denver area mid february, I'm hoping to have this done way before then for peace of mind!

I would be willing to deliver to someone along the way (between Nipomo-CA and Denver-CO) IF cash was paid in advance for the 40 and whatever cost associated with an u-haul trailer for towing it.

I'm not looking to get rich over this truck sale, I just want to get a fair deal with someone who would enjoy both driving it and helping my family out! I won't hide or fake anything because I don't have time to screw with people! I ratter be straight forward and get moving so if you have any questions or concerns just ask!

Condition I would say is Good to Ok. It needs some tlc but it's a solid truck for sure, needs a new home and some love!
Paint is faded(spots) but original, has some primer spots around due to surface rust and rear fender opened up for bigger tire. One rust spot that requires special attention at the RH rear sill.
Engine was swapped to a GM 283 small block (bored .010 over) before it got to me. Runs strong, I had hopes of doing a diesel swap but have to postpone that!
4 speed (original)
I do have the jump seats in good shape in my garage.
Have parts (in a box) for power steering swap waiting to happen
Tires are full tread Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 31x10.5 15s
Custom built center console box
Inside of tub cleaned up and rolled with bed liner (by me after buying it)
Gas tank was flushed clean and bed lined on the outside, new gas lines.
Seat tracks/brackets blasted and painted.
Roll bar painted.
All glass in good shape
Needs some rubber all around
Hard top needs gutter attention and repair.
Brakes, clutch and hubs need service.

Stuff I'm forgetting I'll add later!

I'm also selling my RTT (see signature) and my pop up camping trailer.
2000 Coleman Timberlake
Sucks but life happens, I'll get another at some point!
Thanks everyone.

Engine is a 287? Is it perhaps a Chevy 283? Also, it would be valuable to know if the conversion was done using an Advance Adapters or maybe a Downey kit.

Looks like a very solid rig.

Sorry, you are correct sir! I meant 283.
I'm not too familiar with gm stuff but have some small bit of info from the folder of receipts and service that came with the truck when I bought it. And I'm no engine builder so if I post something making no sense you guys please correct me!

So engine is a '65 GM 283 CID small block bored .010 over.
Camshaft is L-46 hi lift hydraulic
Rocker arm and ball assembly is TRW (whatever that means - it's on the sheet so I put it here).
Intake manifold is edlebrock dual plain.
High capacity Corvette fuel pump.
Aluminum flywheel
Heavy duty clutch plate
Carb is Edlebrock.

I do need to check on engine to gearbox adapter.

Looks like a decent deal.

Thanks gents! That's what I'm hoping for, a decent deal that works for both buyer and seller!
Like I mentioned already, I don't want to send it away but a house is more important to the family than a 3rd vehicle!
If you are inclined then please let's talk!

1974 truck registered and located in California. No smog test needed. For those who don't know, anything from 75 and up has to pass smog testing (more regulation, more $$ spent).

@luvdamud I have a good crawler buddy that lives near you sir! He's in Folsom and is a member of many 4x4 groups and associations up there. Does not drive a cruiser, he goes about in his big white whale! Who knows? You may have seen this thing driving around at some point!
