Howdy all,
Looking to purchase my 1st 40. It'll be a strictly top-off garage toy so not looking for anything too crazy, I already have a built 80 I daily. Open to most examples. Not trying to do a full blown restoration or shell out for one, just want a driver example. Open to any model years. Prefer FST/ones missing the top; would like to save a few bucks there and avoid storing something that wont be used in my ownership.
Not interested in any V8/V6 swapped trucks. Also not interested in any 3 speed column shifter ones.
Don't care too much about cosmetics. Not interested in anything that's been bedlined.
The less rust the better. I know basically all of these have rot. It'll be stored in a garage so not concerned with it getting any worse.
Mechanically would like something that's had some maintenance. It would need to be able to make the drive back to San Antonio.
Budget is up to 18k, not really wanting to go above that.
