what the h@!#$ this aint right! just go to dmv? oh my Daniamal, you know aNITHING BOUT THIS?

I didn't do it.

A ref wil look at it and do a visual inspection. They will make sure your charcoal canister is in place etc.

Let me know if they bounce you on the carb fan and the headlight washer tank being gone.

The smog guy may not know what goes in those spots and may think you took some smog stuff out.

Just a thought.

Do you know if this a new attitude the dmv has adopted? Or is it a case of since the motor is in its to late to do anything about it.?

I don't know but it was extremely easy with no problems.

the smog guy did not care bout those things... that was just to show that the previous owners did not go into rebuildind replacing stuff if the motor did not need it to run... ? wait is this the right thread? I think I mentioned it on the "design flaws not!" thread....

But my main thing is that well a couple years back I spoke to the engine conversion guy over at TLC and well this is what I learned from that phone conversation:

30k:eek: will get your 80 a new corvette engine w/6 speed tranny:cool: along with all the paper work that makes your chevota legit.:D

And, He was currently working on getting a disel done but still had way toomany bugs/red tape to work through.. he said he had like about a little over 10k in parts-not including labor and that he was still working on it....

this is to explain my dramma.:censor:

Finally........it passes.....

Took it in today to get her smogged. It passed with what I think are flying colors.

I'd post up the numbers, but there are too many...

Here's some to show the difference....

HC(PPM)

MAX AVE MEAS
125 43 12

CO%

MAX AVE MEAS

0.79 0.14 0.01

NO(PPM)

MAX AVE MEAS

These are at 15MPH

Anyway, thanks to all of you that helped me out over the (gasp) last 10 months.

Thanks Dynosoar and Manuchao for the help!

Now......time lube it up and learn how to adjust the valves...:wrench:

Good deal! Now you gotta wheel the thing a bit. Valves are easy, If you want to come out to my place I will walk you through it.

Dynosoar:zilla:
