I agree as most OEM lights are 4300 or 4500. I don't want my truck to stand out.I say go 4.5k range whether 35 or 55 watt.

I dont know, I was kind of thinking about the 15Ks...
Problem is that I don't know what the full kit means!!! I'll get it figured out.
So for those of us with the 9006 55w ddm kit:
can we get a 55W H1 bulb from TRS?
Or will the 35W bulb work with the setup I have now?
Or Should I just order the 55W H1 bulbs from ddm for $15?

I'm talking about OEM HID setups. Not halogen lights.I want my lights to be white, not yellow as the OEMs are.
Alll 3 are options! But, you can keep the warranty from DDM ballast only if you keep using DDM bulbs!
3. petrotk40: Morimoto mini H1 projectors with 9006 adapters, [STRIKE]H1 bulbs[/STRIKE] and chrome mini gatling gun shrouds
For the 100, the DRL's are on the high beam circuit so I couldn't run bi-xenons. The high beam still works well though as the low beams have a sharp cut-off and the hi beams have no cut-off. Halogens are supposedly better for "flashing" because they turn on instaneously. HID's have a short delay when the lights "heat up." But I would probably have done bixenons if it wasn't for the DRL's.
Ok awesome, then I will be ordering the 55W H1 bulbs from DDM.
I'm locked in for just the projectors with the basic gattling gun shroud.
man, reading hoser's thread... I'm a bit nervous. It'll be totally worth it when finished tho. I just hope I don't have to buy a new headlight...
One question about the bi-xenon:
how do we get the high beams to get the bi-xenon to work?
Hmm, well... let me rephrase what I said 5 years ago. The LX has a LO beam bulb and a HI beam bulb. The DRL is the HI beam at "half volume." Using a Bi-xenon projector, where the HI beam is a matter of mechanical shield that flips up to change the beam pattern, it is possible to have HI/LO bi-xenons in addition to the existing half volume DRL's. The HI beam trigger wire will have to be sorted out... from the HI-beam circuit.man, reading hoser's thread... I'm a bit nervous. It'll be totally worth it when finished tho. Does the LC100 have a completely different bulb for DRL's than the HI-Beam?

Does the LC100 have a completely different bulb for DRL's than the HI-Beam? If so, it will make things slightly easier. In any case, YES, you can have great working HI-beams with bi-xenons as the HID's remain on... there is no warm up time other than when initially turned on. Is that any clearer?
But I do think it would be wise to read up on some retrofits. It is not hard but it can take some time. The end result will pay off though.
the LC's are the same as the LX's where the DRL is the HiBeam not at full power.
