So it’s happened.......”I’ll just get it on the road and drive it” Next stop, frame off. I’ll get into it more in the future, but right now I need some help with a measurement. Would someone be able to provide this measurement for me? I’m about to replace the front floors thanks to bobm and would like to get the sagging body close to where it should be. Thank you in advance.

If no one comes up with it for you, I'll pull the cover on the parts pig tomorrow and should be able to get it. To clarify you want between the bellhousing and body, right?

Is that a splitting wedge jammed in there?

Yes and yes. Thank you

Ok, I measured right where you did on the that bellhousing hump and I have 1 3/4". Stock 1971.

Hopefully my posting will get better in the future. A lot of work ahead and from lurking, it appears that there’s a great group of helpful people here.
