Could we actually get some good snow? Fingers crossed for all the big and little kids around the area.

This local guy thinks so. 5 to 7 around Raleighwood.

They are talking about 1-2" here and you would think the world was coming to an end. Grocery stores were like the Wed before Thanksgiving last night. Nuts. I'll be working at the bench in the shop looking out at the back paddock wtching it snow. Wood stove in the shop is pumping!!

Heather took the 80 with nearly new BFG ATs on it :)

Dude just moved up the predictions for Raleigh to 9 to 12 inches. This could get interesting around here.

Different chapters of the club should organize a shuttle service .... getting nurses to hospitals, patients to dialysis, etc.

As long as this guy ain't driving .....

Left my card offering assistance but with the winch out not sure what help I could provide. Almost righted it but then I'd want to see his face when he returned with a wrecker. Dang quarter inch will get ya.

This is a good idea of a way the club can be an asset to the community. Does anyone know where to look to start something like this? I'm sure we'll be melted by tomorrow but I'd like to know where to turn for the next time.

you can register your name with emergency services. I did a few years ago but since my jobs never close for snow and ice there was little I could do from my desk. It did work out during one of the weekend snows a few years ago and shuttled a few nurses to work and yanked out a stuck ambulance.

I volunteered for the urban ministries home meal delivery tomorrow thru a neighbor. This might be an avenue to approach for the club Cover gso. Clt. RDU. As a group and serve and an impromptu philanthropy event. Or we may have better success supporting a single group that exists in all areas (is there a city/comm based/funded service)

You guys be safe. It's a lot more dangerous on the roads in NC due to inexperienced drivers in snowy/icy conditions. It was always the other people I had to watch out for. If that 12 inch prediction come true you guys are in for it. Prepare for shut downs. And take pics! Snow here in CO is just a normal thing but I wanna see pics of you guys playing around in it.

Snowfall will really have to pick up to get to 12 inches.

Would love to assist. Will investigate through church and other avenues.

That it will although it is still coming down here. No way we will get 12 inches or even close. I am stuck inside with the sniffles but am enjoying some medicine in the form of hot toddys! Perfect cold weather drink!
