Snow Wheelin' in Nor. Cali?...

I know it's a little bit early, but is anyone up for some snow in the northern Cali. area before the year is up? The last time I went snow wheeling was 2 years ago in Dec. when I had my '92 Runner. I went with my buddy who's a Nor. Ca. taco member up at Iron Mountain. That was a fun place to play in. I'm in the Sacramento area, so I'm open to suggestions of places as I've haven't been to a lot of place yet. Either a 1 day or weekend outting is fine, just want to enjoy the $$$ I've invested in my rig. Hopefully some place within a 2hr drive to.

Sweet, that'll work for me. Hopefully a few more would like to come, but we'll still have blast if it's just us 2.

dan and carl the closer to the 26th the better i would drive the 40 up from so cal for x-mass and then go. I would also like a day trip.

are you guys on the NorCal 80s list? If so, I recall seeing someone on there wanting to hit the snow in mid December. I'll be there if I can, but am not sure if the date will work with my schedule. The idea was to head in somewhere around Eagle Lakes.

Thanks for the invite. It's confirmed that a few of us, I think 6, will be heading up to Eagle Lakes on 12/18/04. We'll be meeting at the trail head around 10 - 10:30. Hey Dan I supposed to be going on a trip around Christmas but I may be able to make a day trip in there somewhere. A snow run is a priority for me this Winter! Also PMC has a day after Thanksgiving run.

Yea, it would be during the week. I think I have that time off (not sure but likely) I am on call sunday so could leave by 10 am on monday...maybe earlier. Its always a last minute thing with my schedule.
