Yeah its way too tall, I'll be looking into frenching the shackles at lunch tonight. Thanks for the compliments Sam
And It was super rainy yesterday (and today) but dammit i had a deadline that i couldn't miss. So Aidan and I worked through the wet and FINISHED THE SPRING OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On the test drive i noticed that i couldn't turn nearly as well to the left ask could to the right, i thought i might've put the steering stops in the wrong place and was really worried until i got over there this morning and immediately saw that the problem required much less welding... just needed to rotate the ram mount up on the tie rod so it stopped hitting the unbolt haha.
On to poser neighborhood shots
Already rubbed the knuckle ball paint off haha, and my ghetto fabbed front spring hanger that i need to replace... those washers gotta go lol
And i need to cut the diff breather.
Street wheelin in the ATL after leaving ACC, nothing was screaming at them to change, so i felt good about that!
And Woody's usual stomping ground, sitting still on the highway...
Things id like to look into:
-
LOWERING the height. The rear is a little stink bugged and id like to rectify that by fixing the rear shackle angle. Also looking into frenching the shackles into the frame.
-Thats it, everything else is perfect for me. Even the brakes work as well as my brother's 80 on 35s. Im pumped and not scared to drive Woody anymore lol!
