slight "clank" when I turn... (1 Viewer)

If it is more of a single clank, it could be because the upper pan hard rod hole has worked itself into an oval. This sounds funny but my 80 only makes the noise if I am in a parking lot or wheeling hard.

my rear does the same thing, almost no motion can be felt - but if you grab it and push and pull, you can hear the noise.

I ended putting each corner up on jacks one at time to find the clank. It was my upper panhard as well.

pics please

Can someone please put up some pics of what to tighten to get rid of this noise. I am mechanically minded but the terms being used are foreign to me. I am in OZ and not sure of the terminology. Thanks

Fixed my turning clunk by re-welding the upper pan hard rod mount. The hole had egged itself out and was starting to make awful noises.
