Sorry bringing back an old thread, but can you still use the Slee front skid as a jack point like the factory skid? If so, would the jack go right under the diff support or closer to the front like where the factory spot is?

Lift from No. #3 Frame Cross member (diff drop cross member): where the back edge of the slee skid bolts to cross member

I admit, I'm lazy and don't like to remove these skids very often.
However, its time to change the TC fluid.
Since I don't want to remove the belly plate, what do you think about using a hole saw to make a large(r?) hole to access the fill plug more easily?

Sounds good. I cut some holes in my Dissent middle and rear skidplates for cooling the transmission.
Might want to think about where to put the hole to maintain strength.

Ya, good idea. I'm no engineer but maybe I'll post some photos to get some feedback.

Although it’s awkward angle, using a hand pump and a length of tubing to get the lube in works fine either through the access hole in the skid or over the back edge of the skid. The access holes from bottom could be enlarged but cutting a new hole isn’t an ideal solution.

I hear ya. I've got a pump, but getting the fill plug off is the issue though. Monkey size hands don't help.
