Slee rear bumper post cover (removed spare tire swing out)

Hi, I removed my spare tire swing out on my slee bumper.... Easier for city use (twin babies, wife, etc)....
What can I use to cover the post that the swing out mounts on?

Do not want it getting rusted etc...

Thoughts?
