thanks Puulboy,

Headed to Surf and Turn tomorrow night. Looking forward to seeing how it works in the rain.

Good luck and safe travels Bob....hop you knock em' out!

Well Pat is was a fun/miserable weekend. The dunes, the ocean and the people were fantastic, but the good lord did not shine a lot of sun on us. Rain, sleet, hail, 30-40 mile an hour winds during the event. A couple of hours a great weather each day though.

The trailer was a tremendous hit, people chasing me in the parking area to see it. A lot of looks, great comments. Prices given to alot of people and several very likely new trailer owners.

I am so glad I had this trailer there. Tent camping in this weather is not fun. We stayed warm and dry and out of the horrible winds and sleet Saturday night.

Just got back, and it is raining and snowing here.

That's great news Bob...it'll be nice spending the winter months in the shop,on building something you love.....sorry the weather didn't work out, but after the Vermont Expo, a few good friends, some good food, and a few cocktails, can turn any crappy weather into a fun event.

Continued success!...

Looking at making some changes to the original trailer. Maybe a bit wider in the cabin area and narrowing the overall trailer. Will build another prototype and see where it takes me.

Carveacre Trail- Skersfan - YouTube

Here the trailer is on Cavacre Trail. The trail is about 5 miles of continous rocks, bolders, burnt manzanita trees, and rock walls. Most felt the trailer would not make it 100 yards, but did the whole 10 plus miles out and back. The trail is east of San Diego off the 79 highway south.

And here's a few trail pics to go with that video...

Seems to be very little interest in my trailer on this site. Will provide pictures again.

I am looking for comments on the trailer, as to whether I should devlop it as a mass manufactured trailer.

Pictures are showing its trail worthiness.

Thanks for any future comments.

I don't think that's the case Bob...I think people are still in shock...

Just not many "enclosed" trailers here, sorta new, but if you build it..

They will come..

Very cool trailer. Not sure I would be towing it over those obstacles, but you never know.

I have checked out and bookmarked your new website to see how your products develop.

This trailer is designed to be capable of any trail structrually. Some have questioned if it would be serious trail ready. That is the reason for the degree of trail I have been running. In honesty, I build the AT type trailer also, I do not build the Chaser or Sierra type trailer. I will say that this is far more trail worthy than my box trailers, which I feel are equal to any on the market. Center of gravity is far lower, seldom a chance of weight being outside the tires in a tip situation. IE fender boxes.

This is for setting up a base camp, but wanted people to know that it will go pretty much anywhere the truck will go, width is the only restriction and it is narrower than the tow vehicle.

Thanks for your comment.

just came across this thread. wow. that is one intense teardrop! bravo - nice build!

Thanks for your kind words. I have tough competition out there and wanted to set the bar for them. I think right now mine is heads and shoulders above the others, but that will only make them make theirs better and the end user benefits. Any ideas, things needed or questions do not hesitate to make comment or give suggestions.

There are a few pictures of the interrior in the build.

It has a Restava Memory Foam bed, 8 inch, longer warranty than Tempurpedic. It works great. It has a 24 LCD TV with DVD and a Kenwood stereo with CD. Two 750 watt inverters, Ipod Dock, cable/satellite in, Microwave, stove, fridge, with slider, sink, on demand water, hot water heater, shower, porta potty, Prop pex propane heater and AC are all standard features on the trailer. It also has a roof rack that is standard, two solar batteries, a Morningstar digital solar controller and 110 marine dual battery charger, 4 110 outlets and 4 12 volt outlets, side box, out door speakers, ARB awning, with 28 gallons of water on board, it also has 7 gallons of propane. The production trailer will come with doors on both sides. Some of the proposed standard features are not on this trailer.

Hope that answers your questions. Also we have decided to take pre orders on the trailer, production will start in May, we currently have 8 on pre order. I plan to build 1 a month, but could raise it to two it appears.

The pricing is far less than my competitors and it is a steel frame, upper and lower

IH8MUD has done it again;postponed chores while I run down the rabbit hole of cruiser "porn"! Skerfan, when I saw the first pic I thought it was a tiny toy hauler...it's a teardrop w/ kitchen! Cool! I want something similar so I can carry my quad in and camp out of. Good clean work! Applause..........and..................................BOOMER SOONER!

I am actually researching one for a guy with a quad, the kitchen is the problem, but working on a system that will let it swing out to the side, no ramp door, but if it is all wheel drive will go right in. I have not committed to building it yet, just working on some plans to see if it is veasable.

Also for an elk hunter in Wyoming. This thing has lots of capabilities.

Go Big Red, nothing but respect sooner.

a toy hauler tear drop would be an amazing bit of engineering.
