BUMP-er...

It cost zero $$, pretty light, I don't want to buy another radiator or have to call my wife at 3AM to give me a ride home, it ended up a little bigger than I was shooting for but there isn't much structure to tie-in to. Still doesn't protect the headlights. Hmmm that would make it even bigger, we'll see how it affects the MPG's...

GRRRRR..

Ha, that's awesome kief! Go get em! I could see a fussy cop not liking your license plate being a little obscured.

Does anyone around here happen to live near Eugene?

Hey Dan,

Saw your post on the 100 series photo thread...and then this one. Yeah, I live in Eugene. Not many modified 100 series owners here. I think I have seen yours a couple of times. And the white one you mentioned in the other thread. But not much happening on the 100 front. There are a half dozen or so sweet 80's around town...

Petr

Most our group is south of Roseburg, and the only few folks I knew in Eugene have moved. Drop @CreeperSleeper a PM. Opposite direction, but up north in Portland with the Cascade Cruisers.

Ah thank you for your reply Petr. I plan on changing that here soon.

Thank you retrofive, I've spoke with him before on the cascade cruiser forum.

Ah s***! I'm becoming Kief! I now have 2 55, a 60 and now a 40?!
Picked this up off of CL today for $3500. 72 FJ40, Chevy 350 V8, sm420, cracked adapter to a 3 spd transfercase, sprung over on 35's, ARB's, onboard air and a non functioning 12k Warn winch, also has a lot of "Yukon gears" stickers so I'd be curious what its got in the diffs. It runs and drives shockingly even with the gaping hole in the adapter. Lots and lots of serious hacking went into this thing, the engine mount involves a 1/2" chunk of plate welded to the frame....1/2"!!!!!! Also it has a Chevy wiring harness... It is surprisingly rust free though!?!?!

Nice project!

Aw schucks.. ARB's make that a pretty good deal.
Ditch the one piece case and go with a 205 or an Atlas & a centered rear, kool

Kief, did you get some bad-ass lights mounted in that "bumper" you mounted yet??
