not a damn single thing I ordered for my 80 for this trip has showed up yet... grrr so looks like I'll have to just do a drain and fill on the front birf issue. And hit the intake tube with some rubberized sealer and mastic tape?
Grab another EFI relay locally unless mine shows up before. And I was hoping my locker would have made it too. Locker will be here UPS to my work at 930 tomorrow. But I don't want to rush the job to .make the trip. They sent me an oil seal pretending to be in an inner axle seal box. And in this same box was supposed to be my spare EFI relay. So of course there going to slow boat it rather then expedite. And my tranny filter and intake tube will be here Monday. Tranny is fine, good fluid and all. Just a PM thing

Don't waste the rubberized sealer on the intake tube. I used 7 wraps of duct tape, and wrote "Type R" on it with a sharpie... It was good for over a year before I finally replaced it.
Didn't get a single minute last night to do any work on it so I gotta skip that rubber anyways. I have some high temp foil back mastic tape that should work. But I got the drain/ fill on the front end done this morning. Just gotta get an exhaust hanger welded up and a few holes patched
LOL, the reason it held up was the "Type R"! Forget the duct tape just write "Type R VTEK" on it and call it a day. Probably adds 35 HP too. Just sayin.
I don't think she could handle it, the tip already added 50, and I know the short piece of chrome pipe already on the intake has to add alot more.
