Man, only one comment away from being able to upload an avatar, and I'm feeling a little pressure to pick a cool photo. :-/

Whew. This is it. With this comment, I should be cool enough to choose an avatar. I was thinking a sweet poser pic in my Heap. Yes? :-P

That's sum good sheeeet Ty! I like that a lot!:)

BTW, on my mechanics list soon- service mazda mpv tranny hoping I'll locate a bad(and accessible) solenoid to replace so I can tell the guys at Dusty's they suk balz(thanks Chad).
Then, on Bobbies '96 Nissan quest(the coolest van he ever cruised) an O2 sensor and a knock sensor replacement. Quoted almost a thousand for both! I watched Youtube videos where you can/maybe/might be able to access it w/o removing half the engine.

If all goes well will I be a novice mechanic then? :meh: Chad inspired me to "man up". I really like turning wrenches! I hate working hard, laying on the hard ground, getting dirty and having crap fall into my eyes! They're very sensitive.

Knock sensors, emissions testing, Youtube videos, ..........they're all B.S. Really.:bang:

That knock job is not a huge deal.
Its just time.
Probably 25 fasteners or less.

If you attack it take pics, lots of pics and, or mark hoses.

Gonna get the parts first. Then...it will begin.:flush:

But.... but what does it all mean?!? :)

Hey, you just successfully resurrected one of the best gas-guzzlers ever built, I think the last mating pair of some endangered species of newts are going to die somewhere on planet earth and its all because of the extra carbon that you just released into the atmosphere.

Oh well, that's really cool! Nice job!

They made better oil that year.;)
