funny.. I gave that tire to someone for a spare.. must have been Jippy!

It doesn't hold air on that rim so you might take that into consideration ;)

Jippy was emphatic it wasn't his, as was everyone else and I know it doesn't fit anything I've ever owned so glad it found a home!

Both the old spare I had and the one Travis gifted to me did not survive being removed from the wheels! Both tires about 16 years old. :frown: Beads failing and sidewalls falling apart. Had them find something in their "pile O junk" tires and found a 31" with decent tread only 3 years old so finally have my spare. Who wants the original wheel back?? Pretty rusted up. If nobody claims I will take it to Jesse's (s)krap pile. BTW Kief, Jesse has the old front springs you did not need back. The rears we took off are at my house. I'll hang onto them for you. Thanks for the spring loan!!

Made it back to Lake Siskiyou this weekend which is right next to Shasta City. I highly recommend it for anyone who has kids.

Dialed in the offroad trailer a little more with a trailer hitch for the bikes and a steel plate front "window" in the canopy. It was chalk full, the 4runner was able to pull it although a shift down to 4th gear was required on any kind of hill and we hit 3rd repeatedly on Mt Ashland.

Giant inflatables in the lake, $14 for 4 hours...worth it. 4 hours of quiet time while the kids were happy...PRICELESS!

Imported sandy beach. Store selling beer and ice-cream just above it.

We tried out the on-site pizza parlor. It was absolutely empty plus they had outdoor seating so our boys plus our friends boys could throw food everywhere and be a general menace. Many beers on tap plus the food was excellent! Then there was an outdoor movie theater that the kids loved! LOVE THIS PLACE!

Went up to Tunnel 13 on Mt Ashland today. Had to get the kids out of the house for a little while. We hiked all the way through it which is probably like 1/3 of a mile in the dark. I thought they'd chicken out but they didn't want to stop. I even got to do a little light duty wheeling up by Pilot Rock. It felt great to put it in 4-lo for the first time in too long. So stoked to be able to start doing a little wheeling again.

That tunnel is f'n rad! Spent some time up there as well. Pretty creepy to walk all the way through. Nice link. There actually is a paperback book that is pretty rare on the whole tunnel and history.

I'd love to do that! Directions...??:meh:

Take the Mt Ashland exit off I-5 and pull over as soon as you get to the wide spot just before the first intersection. There will be a small fence with a path going through the gate. About 100 yards up the hill it opens up and you'll see the track and buildings.

I used to find myself watching a TV show or doing an activity and half way through I'd start wondering why. All the crap we did "together"because she liked it. So nice to do what I want.
