How bad is the 62 for sale? how much?

He's fixed some of the rust on the 62. Definitely could use a passenger front fender and some other pieces. He was asking $7200 for it and kinda has it sold to a guy for $5500. No money has exchanged hands yet if you wanna step in. He just installed a rear arb locker and did a ton of work to it. Here's the ad

18 mpg??? Sure.
Out of a non turbo diesel 6cyl with a 5 speed?? I was surprised it wasn't a little better than that. He does carry a lot of crap on the roof rack though. Evidently the thing is slow as heck. I believe its the 1hz, previous owner put a turbo on it and blew the headgasket and then took the turbo back off. It's cool but it's an overpriced super primitive novelty. It does have the full floater rear end but no factory lockers. I'm sure the ome lift and the 33's aren't helping his mpg's either.

Chat....sitting at the Double Tree bar in downtown Philly reading Mud. Doing a final hookup of saferoom doors here that I should have finished today but the GC had failed to complete the necessary wire runs and mounting of power supply boxes. Working tomorrow as well and hopefully catching a few innings (instead of the whole game) of the Rangers game in Dallas for my 18th stadium of the 30. And for those that know we will be "testing" the self healing door sitting in my garage the last week of September, just in case we need help picking the damn thing up and adding lead to it :grinpimp:

Wait, so you have to work tomorrow, like as in Thursday? Oh the humanity! :flipoff2:

Let's kill that door in sept. :D

Hey traveling counts as work! So yes I have to work Thursday (hands on and travel!) :flipoff2:

And yes we will kill the door...or let's say it will be obliterated but the manufacturer will know exactly what it can withstand

Still working on details but it looks like the end of September. Looking for the ideal spot as two of the manufacture's reps may fly out for it too.

Not sure if it matters but CTW is Sept 23-25, and aside from that I have to work that weekend :(

Since it's work and they are flying out from NYC I have keep my dates open and most likely miss CTW if that's the case.

Thanks Ty for giving my grandma the tip! She really needed it!

Or something like that... Her Dolphin rv had approximately two miles of exhaust tubing and was rotten and rattled something fierce. In my redneck wisdom I decided it needed a sweet side exit exhaust with the chrome tip off of Ty's ghia. Look at the awesomeness poking out in front of the tire! That little 22re is probably pushing 88 hp now. She may never ask me to work on her stuff again!

Heck ya! That chrome is getting you home baby!..... or is it home is where it broke? I get the two confused.
