All,

Today I had started up my truck (06' LX470 w/~209k) and had a view odd things happen. First and as the title states my side view mirrors both stopped working and they stopped in the reverse position (i.e. angled down). The controller is not working. Is there a fuse that handles the mirrors? I reviewed the manual and didn't see anything obvious. I have also search and didn't come across anything that seemed to apply, but perhaps I was not using the correct search terms.

The other strange thing was the VSC OFF, VSC TRAC, and VGRS lights came on and stayed on. No noticeable performance issues. No CEL. No codes, active or stored. It was driven a day or two prior without issues.

No work of any kind for a while. Truck has been running great.

Thanks

Oh we’ve had plenty of rain, but it’s garaged. No water inside.

Going to assume you meant "Side view/wing" not "Rear view" mirrors.

Yes there should be a fuse for them. Assuming its like any of the cars I've owned over the years with power mirrors.
The other lights may be related to this but also might be something entirely different.
Should be #36. Located I the driver side kick panel. 10 Amp fuse I believe.

That's the ones inside.
Under the hood has these.
#10 Mirror Heater. 15 Amp (Not sure if it has anything to do with it, but I'd check it anyway.)
#26 Alot of the AAC stuff including the Mirrors. 50 Amp

Your battery may be on the way out/dying. That would be what I'd check after going through the fuses.
And don't just check if the fuse is blown, its unlikely but it may have corrosion too.

Excellent information! I’ll check those fuses and also plan on getting the battery and alternator tested.

Yes, I meant side-view and revised the thread as much.

Thanks @x8o8drifter

In my initial posted stated I recently had my sideview mirrors stop working and was getting an odd instrument gauge flutter along with the VSC OFF, VAC TRAC, and VGRS lights. Truck was running fine otherwise. Alternator and battery test good.

After further research here on Mud I found the following thread - LX470 Power Side Mirrors Stopped Working - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/lx470-power-side-mirrors-stopped-working.1287941/

Turned out to be a partially burned up 10A fuse. Fuse #53 - ECU-B2 in the passenger side fuse panel, which according to the owners manual covers the power windows and power door locks. Interestingly enough both the windows and door locks worked fine.

VSC OFF, VAC TRAC, and VGRS lights are off and the instrument gauge flutter is gone. Sideview mirrors are working again.
