Good eye! It was actually just the outer body shell that I was using on my RC rock crawler. I figured it would be cheaper to go out with the toys that day rather than the full size. Now I need to find a new body, but it was cheaper.

Yep. Mine looked the same about 6 months ago...for the second time. Now all the plastic is gone and it's Line-X'd. You might want to consider the same or something similar.
