deeply rutted climb w/ wet ledge pushed me into the bank...... that sheetmetal is amazingly resilient.

No body damage, but I have a beat up exhaust system :hillbilly:

(I had the cats turned before this carnage, not that it helped much....)

Once I disconnected the second cat from the muffler they both settled. The muffler was no longer being hit by the driveshaft and the cat quit hitting the body.

Well, after our club ride this weekend I finally have something to post in here. Knew it was coming, just wasn't something I was looking forward to. Sliders, party of one......:flipoff2:

Took the bumper tip off on the base of a tree on the Mcgrew this year.
On the bottom half there's a section not too many went on. Most used the bypass. I didn't. I did use a little too much right boot though. Pretty happy this was all the damage(at the time). A little higher and I'd have been into the fender.

then I let this guy drive the second half

He did pretty good for his first Mcgrew.
He was driving and I was in the passenger middle seat. Couldn't see what was coming up and when he went over a boulder most were having trouble with and started to go sideways towards the edge, I gave incorrect instructions(i.e. "STOP").

Not that impressive but I figured it was worth posting. I had heard the mudflaps could rip off the flare if you back over a rock...they were right.

This happened just a few minutes ago (cell phone image). My rig ripped its own flare off as I backed up. Such a tiny stump! It's like tripping on your own shoe lace. Embarrassing. I hadn't planned on going flareless, but....
