Before (285/75R16) and After (295/70R18)
OPOR sliders. Adjustable tire carrier (had to slide it out to fit these 34" tires). BIOR - Mike was easy to work, good price point and local. There are several bumper threads comparing them all.

Regarding OPOR, did you get ACH? Powder coated? What is ACH, btw? Thank you!

Do you have a close-up of the OPOR from an overhead angle? I cant see that angle on the Metaltech website. TY!

Rattle can. Powder coating is a waste of money, they will get scratched if you use them.

The PO of my rig was running BFG KO 315/75R16 tires, I bought a new set of General Grabber AT2 in the same size last week and look what I found yesterday. Some serious rubbing at the bottom of the upper control arm / steering knuckle that's probably cut into the sidewall maybe a 1/64 of an inch. I'm guessing the General tire is bigger? I just hope I don't have to go buy 2 new tires after driving maybe 200 miles. I don't really want to run bolt on spacers, do you think some 1/4" slip on spacers will cure it?

Spacer Update: With 1" spacers from Motorsport Tech - they know to machine the fronts now. Fits great. I did some measurements and found that the front width (outside rim to outside rim) was ~3/8" narrower than the rear. Front hub to fender is 21.5". Trimmed the plastic and moved my sliders rearward. Definitely have to hammer the pinch weld. CV boot blew (think it was popped already)...rebuilding both sides next week. After 200k, it probably should be done. And then I am off to find a loading dock ramp and test the flex and see if I rub the fenders.

I am still learning about tire sizes and fitments...can you help me understand why you needed spacers? Is it that these lift/wheel/tire combo that you have resulted in rubbing or limited ability to turn wheel? Or are the spacers added for some other reason? I love the look you have - I went with a modest 275/65/18 as my first upgrade pre-lift and armor and am now looking to go bigger on tires. Thanks!

Check out @10ga photo above, that is why I used spacers, I was rubbing on the UCA rubber boot with 295s. I also have an inclination to chain up this winter for some snow runs - will need the clearance. Chains aside, I could have got away with a 10mm slip-on spacer for the front and left the rear alone.

AH OK, so it is a mainly a width issue then? Or combination of diameter ("height") and width? I guess both play a factor in proper no-rub fitting that allows for full turning.

Thanks!
