Noticed a little dry pink antifreeze at this location. I don’t remember if there was a hose clamp there or not.

No, from the factory there’s no clamp there. I run two zip ties in opposing directions there for extra nerd factor.

Exactly what I do.
 
I added a small hose clamp. Didn’t think about zip ties. Good idea.
 
I must have put a spring band clamp on mine.

Boy, that looks OEM to me. I believe the folks saying there is nothing from the factory but that perfectly sized little spring clamp looks like what it would be if Mr. T did it.

I don't see one on the parts diagram though. There is a clamp on the lower end of the hose though.
