My 80 is sitting 4 or more inches over stock now , and I am always aware that I might be blinding folks on the road . Not so much if they are approaching , but at stop lights for sure . I had to get daytime running lights for importing my 80 into Canada , but quickly defeated them afterwards so I have full control of whether they are on or off . At stoplights I am always relieved that I can turn them off behind some poor sod in a car . Might freak them out a little at first , but I'm sure they appreciate it . I turn them back on as I enter the turn .
As far as on road .. do you think my 80 might be bothering people with it's headlights never being re-aimed ? I NEVER get highbeams flashed at me , so I never even considered doing this . Are the headlights just something you guys automatically take care off after you install a higher lift ?
Maybe the specs and instructions for aiming them against a wall are in the book , and I could just duplicate that setup ... or is that wise , taken the increased height ? Would those instructions aim my lights appropriately now ?
Thanx ,
TY
