Looking for any recommendations on shops to install the Slee rear bumper on my 200? Mainline won't install customer supplied parts. I'm in Bucks Co, but have no problem traveling for good work. Thanks

I haven't installed one myself but after looking at the install directions it looks like mostly a bolt on affair. If you want to give it a try yourself I'd be happy to be an extra set of hands.
Otherwise you could give Blair a call at Tommy's in West Chester. They might help you out. I also happened upon LockedN'Loaded 4x4 in Collegeville. They might be a good resource, but I've never worked with them.

Yea. I started it, kinda hung up on getting the rivnuts in. I'll be able to try again on Friday, so ill see what I can accomplish.

I was going to take my 80 to them (LCH) this weekend for their under coating service but ended up backing out, just didn't get a good feeling and it took them two weeks to give me a price break down not to mention it was $800 more than what I was originally quoted over the phone. I was very tempted after seeing an 80 at CMCC this year that had their under coating service done. if anyone had any experience dealing with them please let me know, I have surface rust on the rear that i'd like to stay ahead of but it's a hard sell to drop her off for two weeks to someone I don't trust.

FWIW I installed the sled shortbus bumper on my 80 in the driveway with the help of my neighbor with no issues.

Interesting to know. They are somewhat close to me and I've been meaning to take my 80 there.
Their undercoating looks thorough than what I'd do lol
As for the rust inhibitions I've used WoolWax on my UC.

Bruce, I have heard horrible things about lch.
Definitely do your due diligence.
If you dont mind, would you mind sharing some of these horrible things with us?

I'm not in any form or fashion affiliated with LCH. Just trying to find a trustworthy shop to do some of the work on my 80.
That being said just wanting to be rational about the reputation of LCH or any shop to that matter. In this time of day not every customer is going to be happy with their experience, but it's worthwhile getting to know what some of the negatives and even positive experiences are based on people's own experiences.

OP Sorry to steer the thread in a different direction.

For anyone interested here is the buyer beware thread that I came across:

This should help the OP form his own opinion. Thanks for sharing.
