I am in Tucson AZ for the next month and was wondering if anyone can recommend a shop thats good for lc200's as i am looking to have some sliders installed. Slee sliders are what i want but when i was in Denver they were backed up and had none available.

What might be some other quality options in the Tucson area ?

Thank you in advance.

SDHQ (Super Duty Headquarters) in Gilbert, AZ recently released sliders they manufacture for the 200-series (SDHQ - Your Motorsports Headquarters - https://sdhqoffroad.com). The owner of SDQH has a 200-series, so they have some other 200-series products they have developed. I have seen them in person, at their shop, and they look to be comparable in quality and mounting/bracing style to the Slee sliders. The version I saw did not have a "fill plate" on the top, as the Slee sliders do (which I prefer), but perhaps that is an option or something they could add. There is a Land Cruiser restoration shop, Overland Cruisers, in Sonoita, AZ (Superlative Overland Vehicle Restoration in Sonoita, AZ - Overland Cruisers - https://olc4x4.com) that may be a great option for getting sliders installed... about an hour Southeast of Tucson, in a beautiful part of the state. If you are interested in a set of BudBuilt sliders without a wait, send me a PM... I may have an option for you.

What dirt said, if you can get to Gilbert then I'd choose SDHQ. Top notch outfit IMO

Contact @dirt2snow - if you can get some budbuilt skids without a wait, that is the way to go. They are hell for stout with a full length mounting plate. I've had two sets on two different 200 series and swear by them.

I’d second the BudBuilt option, if @dirt2snow can hook you up I’d jump on that. BudBuilt are beyond stout with the mounting plate running the whole length of the slider.

In the current market finding anybody that has anything without a long wait is very hard. Alt option a lotta 200 guys praise is White Knuckle Off-road. I think they are in SoCal. Could try calling Metaltech also. Install wise I don’t know anybody in Tsucon, but if your willing to take a day trip to Phoenix I could give you a couple solid options

I just ran across westcott designs. Their sliders look kinda busy to me. I wanna know more about their roof rack…
