I have a 2011 LX570 with the Mark Lev stereo package. The audio is not turning on - this includes for phone integration. The touch screen is on, the maps, the vehicle climate features and other little settings work - but the audio tab simply says it is off when I select it, same for phone. When I press in on the volume button nothing happens. I have checked the fuses under the hood for the amps.

In searching the forums I noticed a lot of people complain about the volume knob being buggy and would be un-reliable for turning volume up and down, however no comments on the press function of the button failing.

I have disconnected the car's battery for an hour and the system did a full reboot, still no fix. I am worried this is so obscure job that is going to take a shop $1000s in time to fix. Really hoping someone else on here knows some other simple checks. Nothing weird has happened to the car (ie no inrush of water or anything) - the thing has been perfectly reliable for the last 150k miles. :-(

Thank you.

I had a similar issue and based on what i found in the MOST menu, i jumped it in the overhead monitor. See if this thread helps you.

Did it rain recently? I know you said no inrush of water but things could have gotten wet. Give it a day or 2 to dry out. If that doesn't work, I would pull the front seat and inspect the amplifier. Very easy and covered on this site extensively.

It did not rain, but it appears to be the amplifier.

So now I need to figure out a source for a new one, dealer quoted me $3200 for a remanufactured one.
