Shift linkage either park or low, not both (1 Viewer)

Ok, so, I’ve been working on my junk for a couple of months now to get it ready for my grandson to do the Rubicon in a month. My current issue is when I adjust the slotted bar connecting the shifter to the trans, either I can put it In Park and cant shift it in low, or, I can shift to low but not park. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like a worn bushing, whose play is eating up the range of motion. I'm pretty sure wits end carries these

Where would that bushing be located?

I just checked Wits End. Those bushings are for the transfer case, my issue is transmission shifter.

I discovered the problem. I tightened the nut to 15 lbs and issue solved. Thanks for your input.
