I am in the same boat right now. I want about a 2in. lift , but dont have a lot of money. I called Spector and they told me I should run the shims with the extrem shackles .

CruiserMT, The springs were used when I bought them so they were already broke in. It flexes pretty good, and the tires tuck right up in the rear fender with out rubbing. I like the set up.

the springs I'm getting are used as well. I'm pretty stoked I've been wanting a lift for quite some time now, actually years. I'll buy a gauge to check my caster as some have suggested and add shims if I need to. Thanks for the great info guys I appreciate it.
