Agree MSRP would be interesting. I would like to see some data of SWAG's of what percentage of these 100's are expected to be registered and operation still today! The numbers show that not a lot were produced relatively speaking. Considering their reliability and cost as new. I would think that they are taken out of commission mainly due to accident collision totals.

I still have the original window sticker for my truck and I can tell you the MSRP on a 2000 LC was $50,828. With options mine came out to a little over $53,500.

all the smart people were buying indestructible 99's before the end of the world (Y2K) when s*** was allegedly going to hit the fan! lol

I believe the 98’-2007’ model year LC’s are referred to by Toyota as “Series 100”. I am new so someone here more senior correct me if I’m mistaken?

Series 100 refers to Toyota Land Cruisers and Lexus LXs. It appears that the sales figures in the link include only Toyota LCs, and not Lexus LXs. If you click on "related model" you find different sales figures for Lexus LXs, so total sales for series 100 would be the combination of the two numbers, presumably.

PS, now see that trunk monkey has already fixed the problem, though the data doesn't quite sync up.

So this is just TLC 100s. No LXs. Historically safe to say that Lexus LX470 sales were 2:1 of Toyotal Land Cruisers and still is/

Lexus LX Estimates

1998-2000: 25k sales/ year
2001-2002: 12k sales/year
2003-2007: 7500/year

Why are you calling it Series 100 sales?
I think he means something else altogether. The thread is titled "Series 100 US Production Sales by year model", which is confusing because it's unclear whether the numbers are # of units PRODUCED or # of units SOLD. Those numbers aren't the same, although they may not be too far off either. So the title saying Production Sales is misleading because we don't know if it's one or the other. Yay? Nay?

Looking at the above mentioned site, il looks like this is how the US sales compare. The Toyota press releases found on the theautochannel.com seems to confirm these number for the 2000-2007 model years.

I do not believe these prices posted here are correct. I will have to find my original window sticker, but my 2005 that I bought in the fall of 04 was very close to $63, 500, including destination fees. And unlike the window sticker posted here earlier ( 2000 model), my 05 had pretty much everything included ( I e. That whole third row seat, reclining, rear power vents, AC controls, etc all part of base LC pricing.. ). I remember there were about 6 different units(and colors) on the lot when I bought mine and they were all roughly equivalent ($63k).

Man. Bumping a thread from 6 years ago! Cool to see the total units sold per year.
