I'm sure this has been covered somewhere but, I need to find a source for door seals for a 1999. Specifically, I need the right side front door but I guess if I'm replacing one, I may as well replace them all. Anyone got a source for these?

Really, never would have thought of that.

I was thinking somewhere online, so I could have them delivered to my door and not have to drive the 30-40 miles to the nearest dealer only to have them order the wrong parts like they did the last time.

BTW - The body-side seals are only available anymore in gray. Tan are all gone. So if you are expecting tan, you are going to get gray.

^^^ I'm hoping they are neither tan nor gray but rather black.

I was going off the part number given in the thread.

Yep, those are black. I was asking because the OP says "door seals", but I was not clear if that was the door opening seal or the seal on the door itself. I've seen lots of trashed opening seals, but very few trashed seals on the door, so figured I'd ask before the OP dropped $$$ on what might be the wrong part.

Just a heads up I found the rear door seals have a different part number for 1998-2002

Rear right 67871-60070
Rear Left 67872-60070

Anyone know if the door seals differ for the years 1998-2002 vs 2003-2007

Anyone replaced the inner body side door seals? I didn't try to remove it but just looked briefly and wasn't entirely sure how it attached. Do you have to remove the felt trim or something to pull it off?

I know this thread is kinda old but didn't see any posts about the body side rubber.

Part numbers i was looking at were
LH 6231260090B0
RH 6231160090B0

Be aware of that for the inner seals, gray is the only color available. Tan has been out of production for a long time.

Question, has anybody replaced their LC door weatherstripping with the LX part? Looking at a family members LX and I noticed the door weatherstripping fills the joint/space between the front and rear doors when closed whereas the LC version does not. The other difference might be years, I have an 02 LC and he has an 04 LX.

A whole thread about it. More evidence why the LX is quieter than the Land Cruiser - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/more-evidence-why-the-lx-is-quieter-than-the-land-cruiser.968566/post-13898066

You’ll see my post with some photos below that one.

How is it grey, is it not just the black rubber? The part picture just looked like rubber too.

Is it the felt with the rubber trim all together?

Guess I can answer my own question, after looking at the part picture more carefully they definitely have the felt attached.

I wonder if the fabric could be separated from the rubber, reuse the old ivory felt and glue or sew it onto the new rubber.

The previous owner had glued all this extra foam rubber around the door, i removed it all but now I'm starting to get why they did it, easy win for noise. Looked so sloppy though. The plan was to just replace it all and cleanup all the old glue.

One thing to note, that upper door frames will get bent outwards on occasion. This is especially true if you have a truck that somebody has called a locksmith for to unlock, they will wedge the door top to get to the lock and bend it out a bit. I found mine had had this done, I rolled the window down and gently shoved the top of the door frame inwards a couple of times. It was pretty noisy beforehand, and this tightened it up so it seated better.
