Well that's terribly disappointing to hear. If you and Julie can come even for just part of the day Friday or Sunday, I hope you will. Best wishes addressing your issue. I hope you'll make the Brown Mountain Run next month.

coming in on Saturday morning, what time will everyone start to hit the trail? Also, what CB radio channel will we be using incase i need to play catch-up. Ill be the 18wheeler sounding rig blazing the trails

John, no gates will be locked. Need to look at the plans that were posted a few days ago to get an idea of where everyone will be at any time give or take.

Plans are to roll out at 9am from group camp. There will be someone at camp tending the pig, so they'll be the contact person if you're running late...

CB's will be on 7, FRS radios at 7.0 unless we get some cross talk, and then we'll announce which channel, usually 7.1...

Mike, sorry you and Julie won't be making "Logan's Run". I was hoping to see your beautiful 40th anniversary on the trails again. Also that great tent/trailer set-up you have. It would have been photographed by everyone. The next run for me will be the Dec barn camping trip so I hope to see you guys then.

I read your post to Lydia, as I was reading it for the first time, and both Lydia and I looked at each other and said "wow", as tears filled our eyes. Thank-you for the kind words and expressing perfectly what this event means to the both of us.

We will miss you and Julie!

Thanks, Darin. I'll be driving through Raeford heading to 'Nam in about 7-8 hours. I'll think of you. Working with Gary Sinese's Lt. Dan Band on base tomorrow. Leave after the show and unload/reload 2 trucks and 2 vans on Saturday AM so I can have time to fix my stock gauges before I head to URE. I'm hoping it's a ground problem as usual. I've got a redundant set wired up but it'd be nice to have a fuel gauge again. I guess I'll finally fill up that jerry can I bought last year just in case.
