I registered on the ONSC Website but did not pay. Should be paying tomorrow.

As long as you're registered you're counted in our list. I'm using the registered list to make my order for 'da meat!

I think I've got it worked out to be there Saturday by dinner and leave soon after the raffle (damn, I hate work). I'll look into the whole registration thingy later tonight to make sure ya get my moolah in time. An acoustic guitar for the raffle just arrived. I'll open it up and post a pic on Wednesday. Sorry, it's not an Esteban.

No. Unfortunately they were not. I talked to about 15 different people down there. On a bunch of different channels also. All from a different place down there that we later looked up on the computer. If you have ever been in skip land you would know. I used to have a home station that was powerful enough to go thru peoples tv's. I was pushing 1000 watts. Very illegal at the time but oh was it funny to see people come over and ask me to stop breaking in on their shows. I still have a hopped up CB that is pushing more than 4 watts that i run in my dually on long trips. Been running CB since the 70's.

I have no idea why, but I was thinking that you were using a 'legal' power level. I should have known better :hillbilly:

What setup were you using when you got it to skip land? How many watts?

Right now 100 watts.

There is a place in Nam that i and a bunch of other guys used to go to back in the late 80's that we could get into skip land pretty much everytime.

Granted it has been developed now. I used to talk on the old mans CB back in the late 60's. We did not have any phone back then, just a powerful CB.
