Hey guys, it's time to sell my baby, all my buddies got out of wheeling so it's my time. My parents bought it stock back in 2000 with 25k on it. They are always very meticulous about maintenance so it was always serviced at the dealer since I got it almost 4 years ago. It's a 96 lx-450 currently has 140k on her, runs perfect, hg was done by Toyota right when I bought it. Engine always sees rotella t6 every 3k, trans has amsoil syn ATF. Front, rear diffs and t case have always seen syn 80w90... Here's a list of mods

I'm kinda shocked it took so long to sell. This was a killer deal when you look at all the parts and labor that have been put into it. Congrats to the buyer. They got a rig I am quite envious of.

I'm a member in name only at this point. I've wanted a FJ series something or another since my dad bought a FJ40 in 1996, back before I could drive. I finally got serious about it a few weeks back and started my hunt on IH8MUD. I looked at a couple 60 series but got steered towards the 80 series after learning more about daily driving and comfort abilities. js93cruiser has been very patient and accommodating so far. His truck and build up made it a no-brainer to buy. Once I get a little time off from the Army in April I'll be flying out to Cali and then driving the truck back to North Carolina. So far I've been blown away by the amount of info and resourcefulness of the members on this forum. Can't wait until the 18th of April.

This is a helluva truck to dip your toe with...might as well schedule some time in to doodle around in Moab for a couple days and gain a experiential respect for your rig's capabilities and the whole point to why we engage in all this silliness.
