Well she's sold, to another mud member thankfully, she will be gone April 18th
 
I'm kinda shocked it took so long to sell. This was a killer deal when you look at all the parts and labor that have been put into it. Congrats to the buyer. They got a rig I am quite envious of.
 
Yea me too, people like to low ball and flake, Im going to miss this thing to death! She's going to North Carolina next month

I'm a member in name only at this point. I've wanted a FJ series something or another since my dad bought a FJ40 in 1996, back before I could drive. I finally got serious about it a few weeks back and started my hunt on IH8MUD. I looked at a couple 60 series but got steered towards the 80 series after learning more about daily driving and comfort abilities. js93cruiser has been very patient and accommodating so far. His truck and build up made it a no-brainer to buy. Once I get a little time off from the Army in April I'll be flying out to Cali and then driving the truck back to North Carolina. So far I've been blown away by the amount of info and resourcefulness of the members on this forum. Can't wait until the 18th of April.

This is a helluva truck to dip your toe with...might as well schedule some time in to doodle around in Moab for a couple days and gain a experiential respect for your rig's capabilities and the whole point to why we engage in all this silliness.

sheephearder you got yourself one of the nicest, sickest, badest ass landcruisers/lx450 ever built. believe me.

your lucky i bought my cobra in august or id have been all over this thing.

Sheeplehearder just bought one hellova rig, that thing is so sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I hope once you get in the house you'll get the itch once again and build another!
