Hey guys. Before I post this to FB I thought I'd list it here first. Selling my 98 Tacoma TRD off road 4x4. 160k miles. 5 speed 3.4. Truck runs great. Just got back from a trip to Las Vegas. Have many receipts. Everything works. Has some paint issues and some dings here and there. Would like to get 8k.

More pics. I'd drive this truck across the country tomorrow.

I did the timing belt and water pump, idlers and tensioner 4 years ago and it had 140k on it then.

So, I found a Taco with a blown HG for daughter's roommate since she's looking for a beater truck. I texted them both with a link to the Taco, and here's her response
@alia176, will this work for her? Beater enough, or too much truck?

Too much truck for her but I'm looking between the couch cushions for some change.

Such a great rig!

Aw man, if I didn't already have 5 vehicles and I had some way to convince my wife I need this.... I had this exact same year, trim, TRD, engine, transmission and even color with the first new car I bought after I graduated college. I loved that truck and still complain to my wife that I had to sell it when the kids came along and it just wasn't going to work for properly supporting kid's car seats. I only had it a few years. But if it wasn't for having to sell the Tacoma, I may never have been introduced to what a Land Cruiser is 22 years ago. I was going to replace the Tacoma with a 4Runner and dad convinced me to buy and resurrect an FJ60 instead. Now I have a Land Cruiser and 3 4Runners. I miss my pickup but having an SUV that seats 5-8 people and keep everything more secure and out of the weather is much more practical. And I have a trailer for whenever I need to haul something in an open bed.

This is really nice. One of my dream trucks for sure. GLWS

Thank the lord I don’t log onto mud very often. I’ve been looking for one of these…
