I've searched the forums and have found discussions on this part, but I am curious if anyone can point me in a direction to purchase a replacement. Seems like a pretty common function this part performs; continuity to ground upon vacuum presence.

I'm missing mine and could use any help ya'all could offer.

That part hasn't been available from Toyota for over a decade. Best bet would be to try to find another good used one from someone whose de-smogging their engine bay incorrectly.
In the mean time, connect the wire that connects to it to body ground if the switch you've got no longer works.

So just to clarify, a properly desmogged FJ60 should keep the fuel cut vacuum switch and VSV? I got my truck desmogged at a land cruiser shop in Portland, and they got rid of the HAC, VCV on the passenger side, and the fuel cut vacuum switch and vacuum switch valve on the driver side. Which, if not all, of these items should I add back into the desmogged system to help the truck run properly? Thanks alot

Theres a document floating around here - how to desmog a FJ60- which goes too far removing everything. If a person follows that guide to the letter, the engine will be much worse off.
The HAC system is a very good thing to have and increases performance at altitude. Very noticeable. Also, the deceleration fuel cut system is nice but not absolutely necessary. Its noticeable when coasting in gear down hill (engine braking). It triggers the fuel cut solenoid to switch off when decelerating, which provides a little better engine braking down hill - and engine doesn't grumble.

OSS, thanks for explaining all of that. Do you happen to have a picture of the vacuum routing in your rig. I have studied the Jim C schematics and read through that de-smog document several times, and have just heard varying things about what to keep and what not to keep. It would be helpful to see your rig and compare visually. I appreciate your help.

Do you still have the emissions computer, under the driver's kick panel, and if yes, is it functional and/or connected?

Use the below link to learn about each item in your emissions system, this is the FSM and where everything points to. Alf is right, if the computer is removed, the vacuum switch is no longer usable, unless you re-install the computer and verify the board doesn't have any cracked solder joints

The HAC, though, is independent of the emissions computer, and is nice if you drive from 4K ft elevation to sea level, or close. It's easy to reinstall, just verify the HAC is functional. Procedure in FSM the King 👑🤴 linked above

I've got one if you need one - feel free to PM me.
