Going up to Sedona on Saturday with the family and have never wheeled up there :crybaby: I'm looking for a trail or two that's not too long, not too crazy, but very scenic. Of course everyone says Broken Arrow but isn't it really crowded? I've run through some other posts and of course anything up there looks scenic, but time will be short and you guys have the best knowledge.

Thanks, have the maps....just looking for some advice on quality so I can narrow it down. I try not to "explore" to much with the wife in the truck. The kids don't care but she can get a bit fussy if she feels like she's being brought on a "forced march" very low adventure if you get my drift.

From what your saying, Broken Arrow is your trail. It hits all of your checks, it's scenic, low adventure, no exploring needed, if your going by yourself there will be plenty of help if you need it, etc. If you have never done it, it's a must do at least once trail, so now is a good time to get it off of your must do list!:hillbilly:

Broken Arrow is a must do , but from what you say about your wife, that may be a tad scary for her. I think if you want to keep it very low keyed Shnebly Hills Road would be an option. It goes from Sedona toward I-17. Its just a bumpy road but pretty scenic and not scary at all. Again I am just reading what you say about your wife and I can relate because how my wife used to be. When I do shnebly I air down to 20 PSI just to settle a few bumps out for passengers, but thats a matter of choice
thanks
Don

Yes, Broken Arrow is nice, but I wouldn't take the :princess: down Devil's Staircase. And you could also try out Soldiers Pass. That has a SWEET sink hole. The Sink Hole DOES NOT have any saftey railing or fence around it - so if you got lil ones, you may want to keep a VERY close eye on it! I have some pics of Broken Arrow - if you'd like to take a peek: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2066809/3

It's pages 3-6

Have fun & Good Luck!

Shnebly is a dirt road with great views. Broken Arrow is a great introductory trail. I took Lynn on Broken Arrow when she was 5 months pregnant and she'd never been wheeling. After the first rock was negotiated with ease, and seeing all the Pink Jeeps, she felt comfortable.

From Chicken Point on BA-

Boy was just a few months old.. Your wife'll love this trail.

I really liked Broken Arrow :D not too hard but very scenic - also: not long, which should help with the family

and as far as :princess: is concerned: it's got vortexes and s*** :flipoff2:
